Below is the press release that came out mid-July, 2017:
American Realtors and Baehr Inc. are thrilled to announce the addition of April Marlewski-Hudzinski to the team. After working with the company as a client purchasing Residential and Commercial properties since 2011, April realized how much she enjoyed the Real Estate industry and decided to add Realtor to her resume.
As a self-proclaimed mini-entrepreneur, April has been involved in many Real Estate endeavors and transactions ranging from owning and operating residential, multi-family, and mixed-use Commercial spaces to flipping a foreclosure.
She’s locally known for her transformation of an iconic building and business at the heart of Sun Prairie and in her words:
“I took what I thought was a dream and made it a reality…from scratch! I literally created a business out of thin air! Over six years, I established a regionally-recognizable brand, operated a successful cash-flowing business including daily logistics, created and implemented needed systems and structure, negotiated unique terms throughout the businesses tenure, maintained enough self-awareness to evolve and reinvent a norm on a regular basis depending on where I was at in my life, and when I was ready, I negotiated a sale, created an exit strategy and transitioned the business to open up a new space in my life for my next adventures.
The variety in my work history has truly made me who I am today and given me a skillset that includes customer service, day-to-day logistic coordination, problem solving, project management, operation and system implementation, public speaking, marketing and advertising, business accounting, staff supervision & leadership, an understanding of the value of web presence, money handling, networking and business-to-business relations and most importantly-how to self-reflect on my own skills and strengths.
Over the years I’ve become fascinated with the Real Estate world and am excited to share what I’ve learned with others. Having been on the other side of the table has given me a unique perspective and the ability to relate and support those working with me.”
April’s Realtor services are available for Buying and Selling Residential and Commercial properties. She also specializes in the sale/purchase of small-medium size businesses and is eager to assist others in the hospitality industry transition their businesses.
She holds a Bachelor’s degree in Speech/Communication from Ripon College and a Master’s Degree in Project Management from UW-Platteville. Prior to taking the plunge into entrepreneurship, April worked at UW-Madison.
